About the Item

This is a Louis XVI Style Black Marble Pedestal. It depicts a large square black marble top supported by a tridimensional rectangular marble column that is attached to a three steps wide square pedestal base. Each upper side wall of the rectangular column is embellished with carved bronze bay leaves swags adorned with bows and ending in a tassel. The bottom area of the column is adorned with a bronze trim engraved with leaves and scalloped borders. Four bronze square feet are supporting the pedestal base.Top is 14.50x14.50 inches.
