About the Item
Pair of Italian Wooden Columns Lacquered Light Green 20th Century, two columns with Doric capitals with carved and gilded elements, constructed of beech wood. They have a circular fluted stem, rest on square bases and end at the top with square planes measuring 23 x 23 cm. The lacquering consists of several overlapping shades of green that give the columns a special lightness.
They are exclusively indoor furniture items, ideal as bases and pedestal for sculptures or vases, were made around 1960 and are presented with good stability and in good condition regardless of minimal wear and tear of the finish, and signs of wear. They came from a private Milanese villa.
The provenance is Italian and they date from the second half of the twentieth century.
