About the Item

A beautiful French turn of the century Faux Bois fountain planter. This wonderful and unique planter is raised by a most decorative Faux Bois base with charming knots to mimic a tree trunk. Above is a circular planter which extends along the outer border, framing sixteen water spouts which spray upwards and land in the center of the fountain. Faux Bois is the recreation by master craftsmen, named Rocailleurs, of wood and wood grains using concrete and other mediums.
