A fine vintage Italian rectangular garden trough or box planter - also known as a "fioriera" - featuring a Modernist design attributed to Romeo Rega.
The planter showing an outer frame of vertical brass and horizontal chrome rods and an inner shell of tinted acrylic.
The interior base has a removable steel liner.
Often used decoratively for plants or flower, it can also serve as a display for bottled spirits or as a centerpiece for a large table.
