About the Item
A very attractive, and unusually long bamboo and rattan planter from the 1950s, sat on six bamboo feet, which gives the planter real elegance, and would make a fabulous indoor window box.
The piece features a distinctive slatted bamboo construction with a decorative scalloped top edge and curved legs. Similar designs are often attributed to mid-century manufacturers like Rohé Noordwolde from the Netherlands. This planter was bought in Belgium, and is in good sturdy vintage condition, allowing for several pots to display a variety of plants.
