Pair Antique Mahogany Birch Wood Plant Stands Jardinières Torchiere English 1890-1910
A very elegant, matching pair of antique plant stands / torchieres, each featuring a two-tier display shelf sat on semi-curved legs. They are made from dyed birch wood, which gives the planters a deep mahogany, almost black colour. These pieces of furniture are incredibly versatile and help maximise space. In very good sturdy condition, with some age-related wear, which I have shown in the images.
