About the Item
Pair French Antique Tall Garden Terracotta Planters, 1920.
They could be early Anduze pots as they were found in the South of France, near Anduze, well know area for Terracotta garden elements.
Made of Terracotta, they have been painted a one time in white and they have now this distress look and the paint is slowly disappearing.
A lovely heavy cord decoration ending with a French bow surrounds each pot.
Very good antique condition, consistent with age and use, no chips or repairs.
Original distress patina.
