About the Item

This handmade Versailles planter is made in the same manner as the French planters from the 17th century still today these planters are being used throughout the Gardens of Versailles. Andre Le Notre, the famous horticulturist of Louis XIV invented this traditional planter box. Their function was to easily extract the exotic trees and place them into the Orangeries of Versailles during the harsh winter months. Made of the finest and most durable combination of aluminum being used for the structure and teak for the panels. The bottom of the planter is supplied with an aluminium grid. Raised Authentic Provence logo on all four side of aluminum structure.
