A pair of antique English terracotta garden planters dating to circa 1870. Desirably weathered, these large urns are crafted in a rich terracotta with an impressive unique shape offering a unique flutter design with egg and dart moulding. Each pot features a naturally time worn finish which can only be achieved by exposure to the elements over many years. A beautiful pair to showcase foliage or displayed decoratively in a period style garden looking to add charm and grandeur. One planter has an indistinct makers stamp. Additional dimensions Diameter of the bowl - 54cm. Base diameter - 32.5cm.
