About the Item

PAIR OF ANTIQUE PLANT STANDS Naturalistic wrought iron and wirework bases in the faux bois taste to emulate branches and twigs. Decorative wirework basket upper sections to hold pots. Naturally worn green paint from age and use. They would work equally well outside as well as in interior settings. Unsigned but in the manner of Jean-Michel Frank. Originating from France and probably dating from the first part of the 20th century, circa 1900-1930s. They are in great vintage condition with no real damage and minor wear consistent with age and use, which adds to their overall aesthetic. Each one measures approximately: 82cm high x 45cm wide x 45cm deep. The diameter of the internal section to hold the pots is roughly 25.5cm wide at its narrowest point.
