About the Item

Rare and large black + white cast marble planters (2 of each available)- sold per piece Stunning 27" planters (on casters). The technique of cast marble, stucco marble or painted marble was very common in Austria in the 18th and 19th century. The 20th century forgot about this technique almost completely therefore it's quite rare to find a set like these 4 planters in black and white faux-marble that was produced in the 1960 on top of that. These planters are entirely from cast marble, also the draining structure on the inside. They have an impressive size and look so beautiful with their random patterns, especially as a set of black and white ones. Each piece weighs around 30-40kg and will look stunning with a large palm tree f.e. or smaller plants. They can be used outdoors and indoors. All of them are in good condition with no cracks. Some chips are present which is fairly common after 60 years of use. Dimensions are 27.55" x 11".
