Hand Forged Double Floor Planter, Gold leaf, gilt iron, Spain, 1940s.
Rare find.
One of a kind double plant iron stand entirely made by hand. This planter features two basket planters joined between them with an iron stretcher. They stand on a four footed base. A highly decorative twisted stem with a ring on the top to carry it. All hand forged in iron and finished with gold leaf gilding.
Heavily adorned by hammer marks and iron studs.
To be used as planter or log holder near your fireplace.
Terrific patina and original gold leaf gilding.
