About the Item

This vintage pair of Victorian solid cast iron garden urn shape planters date from the late 19th century. This exceptional pair of original planters were produced by J W Fiske Company of New York City. Featured around the body of each are four decorative open mouth serpent heads. Complementing enhancing the urns overall appearance are decorative flared border rims. These rims have are accented with unique stylish motifs. Each urn planter is mounted on a sturdy square shape platform that is signed and dated.
