About the Item
Library stairs from France made of solid wood construction, primarily walnut and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are four steps lined with gilt embossed red leather and a holding stem finished with a gilt brass finial. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
