Antique 19th century bronze praying angel with crossed arms and very fine details. Crossed arms on an angel statue represents reverence. This was actually a posture of reverence long before it became body language indicative of being closed off from conversation and interactions. An angel statue in this position is displaying reverence toward God and the grief of mourners. It is a beautiful bronze angel that would look good in a garden or best used on a memorial stone. It is mounted on a wood board for display can ship with or without the board.
