About the Item

Large mid century zoomorphic statue. Skillfully designed and cast in solid bronze. The piece was obtained from the private collection of castle Mussenborg in Edegem. A small town near Antwerpen. The piece depicts a mythological sea or lake creature. Mounted on a wood, brass and cast iron base. It also has a wooden beam mounted on the back so it can be mounted on the wall. The pice weighs about 27kg without the base.
