A regal French lion garden statue. This vintage cast-stone lion statue from France is abundant with fabulous details, such as the nicely textured mane, alert eyes, and open mouth. He is positioned in a seating position with tail wrapping around his back-end and tucked over his rear paw, and raised upon a rectangular-shaped base. There is a wonderful patina found throughout, with yummy mossy bits adding a depth to his belly and lower regions. This stately French lion statue (which is quite a heavy piece!) stands over 3 feet in height, and would be perfect as a piece of art on a pedestal/landing, adorning a patio, a drive entrance, or in a garden as a symbol of protection and strength.
