About the Item
A spectacular pair of classic form carved white marble scroll-handled urns with grape leaf and vine motif, with petal edge rim design on beautifully carved marble square pedestals with shaped balusters. This pair dates to the 20th century and are in very good overall condition, with some handle restoration, minor edge losses, minimal surface imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. The country of origin for the pair is unknown, but were acquired from an estate in California. Dimensions: Urns: Each measure 32 in H x 26.5 in W x 21.5 in D; Overall with Pedestals: 81.5 inches (6 feet 9.5 inches) in H. Ref: 8
