Stunning, extremely large foundry Crucible with incredible glaze and patination to the outside formed by the pouring and splashing of the molten metal adhering to the sides of the Crucible.
This one was probably used for aluminum, which has created a wonderful unique blue texture to the exterior of the pot. These are extremely large pieces that have come directly from a Coventry Foundry. This pot has a large spout to one side, to allow the molten metal to be poured.
Would make a wonderful large garden planter or could be used as a garden water feature...
