The Clan of Tudor Trefor Dating back to the 1st century, the Trefor family name is of Welsh origin, coming from Welsh settlements called Trevor in Anglesey and Denbigh. First found in Herefordshire, Tudor Trefor was the Lord of Hereford, Chirk, Whittington, Oswestry, Ewyas and Urchenfield, and descended from Cadell Ddyrnllwg, King of Powys (born circa 430AD).
