An elegant 19th-century Chinese Famille Rose porcelain cup, richly decorative and mounted in Rococo-style gilt bronze. The generously proportioned porcelain is finely enamelled in the traditional Famille Rose palette, featuring flowering branches, scrolling foliage, and delicate floral sprays rendered in soft pinks, greens, and blues against a pale ground. The porcelain cup is framed by an elaborate gilt bronze rim with pierced and scrolling decoration, extending to finely cast handles composed of acanthus leaves and foliate scrolls. It rests on a sculptural gilt bronze pedestal base, richly chased with rocaille motifs and openwork detailing, lending the piece a strong architectural presence and refined elegance.
