About the Item

An exquisite pair of gilt bronze cups richly decorated with palmettes, small flowers and pierced foliages, on a godrooned base adorned with a pine cone finial. Two ormolu dolphins support each cup. The set is resting on a high, rectangular base chiselled with water leaves, stylized waves, foliages and twisted patterns, above four bloom-shaped feet. Remarkable quality of the chasing.
