Large Senegalese Hand-Woven Basket/Hamper with Top
Offered for sale is a large and colorful geometrically designed hand woven basked from Senegal. The basket is made from coiled reed that has been wrapped in orange, blue, black and white acrylic lacing. The Senegalese people build the basket form while creating great geometric patterns. This hamper has a matching lid. The top of the hamper does show some wear to the acrylic lacing mostly on the top level edge as shown and other smaller areas or single strands
