Article: magazine holder stand element Origin: Austria Age: 1950s This original vintage Auböck style magazine holder stand was produced in the 1950s in Austria. It is made of brass, metal and bamboo with metal magazine holder sides in hole pattern optic. the magazine holder element on the top is made of bamboo. it features a looped handle at the top for carrying. The form of this magazine holder is reminiscent with design of carl auböck…. The hole pattern strongly looks like a design by mathieu mategot. This item has a fantastic design and a nice size of 45cm in height and 37,5cm in length. Straight forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Mategot, Hagenauer, Auböck etc. Dimensions: Height: 45cm Length: 37,5cm Depth: 19,5cm Condition: This item is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and a wonderful patina of over 70 years. one of the feet fixation bolds seem to be replaced, please see images 16 and 17.
