About the Item
Large decorative butterfly and grasshopper sculpture bowls
from Mexico circa 1950's. In the style of Los Castillo.
Each is signed with makers mark and Mexico.
Formed of copper and brass with inlaid
Abalone shell. Both are well used but not abused.
They each retain a warm aged patina.
Butterfly measures 17" X 16" X 2" tall sides.
Grasshopper 16" long X 4.50" wide X 6" tall.
