About the Item

19th Century Dutch elm bowl, hand turned from a single block of wood. Purchased from a private collection, these have holes in the side so they can be hung on the wall as the wear and colour is a work of art. These were predominantly used in the making of cheese bread in the home. Holland, circa 1870.
