About the Item

Antique or Vintage Wedding Cup - Rare Murano Glass in Royal Blue This wedding cup Grand Tour reproduction, made from cobalt blue glass with polychrome enamel and gilded accents, is a fascinating piece. It was crafted by Barovier Toso in Murano and dates from the end of the 19th Century to the first half of the 20th century after the outstanding work of Angelo Barovier in the early 15th C. . The carefully designed glass shows fine detailed persons of Venice all around. Measuring 11.4 cm in width and 12.1 cm in height, it stands as a splendid example of the glass artistry of its time. The cup is in very good condition, although slight wear to the gilding can be observed.
