This is an antique decorative footed bowl. A Japanese, ceramic two piece serving dish by Noritake, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. Joyfully decorative bowl with appealing colour and form Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout Quality Japanese ceramic with a fine glazed finish across a warm white ground Bowl sits neatly within the three footed base, elevated to a height of 17cm (6.75'') Delightful foliate studies present wonderful colour to the bowl interior, upon a blue star motif Relief gilt accents to the bowl catch the eye with rich golden tones Light blue border to the base circumference with gilt pattern work Each of the three paw feet finished in a rich golden hue Noritake 'Komaru' export mark to the base, registered in London circa 1908 This is a striking antique decorative footed bowl, with an attractive foliate decor and appealing colour.
