Large wood antique American mortar and pestle.
Early rare turned wood footed mortar and pestle.
American, late 19th century wooden mortar and pestle.
The urn shaped mortar with rich patina has a wonderful warmth and feel.
The base being ergonomically carved for holding with your hand.
Great patina this kind of mortar were used to grind spices.
Nicely carved, beautiful warm patina. Age cracks running on the side which can be seen in the images.
