About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown transparent with iridescent surface and gold flecks Italian art glass centerpiece bowl / low vase. The piece is attributed to the Barovier e Toso company. It was created with a controlled bubble decoration (Bullicante technique), with a rectangular shape that flares out towards the rim. It has a scalloped ribbon decoration along each corner, with gold leaf on the surface. Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, credenza or mantel. Use it as a catchall, fruit bowl or even fill it with flowers to create a gorgeous centerpiece. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Early Mid-century era. Measures: 11" long x 5 1/2" wide x 5" tall.
