About the Item
Decorative brass bowl with relief scenes of hunting and engraved ornamentation.
Around the body are vivid depictions of mounted and footed hunters engaging wild animals such as tigers, wild boars, and deer, set in a naturalistic landscape with trees and foliage.
The upper and lower rims are adorned with bands of leaf scrolls and ornamental patterns. To the underside, an inset silver plaque finely engraved with a scene of an elephant confronting a tiger.
