This bowl was created and hand thrown by Meindert Zaalberg (1907-1989) in the 1950s.
The incised ‘Sgraffito’ decoration is unique for each bowl or vase, this type of abstract organic decoration dates to the period 1949-1956.
The bowl is in very good condition and marked Zaalberg, Holland.
