About the Item

Laertine majolica amateur cup from the late 17th century. The cup is bi-vaned and includes floral-type decorations. Laterza (Apulia) majolica, is characterized by stanniferous white glaze often decorated with turquoise monochrome motifs with the addition of green and yellow. This type of cup was usually given to young brides as an auspicious sign. Measurements: height: 12 cm, width 16 cm, diameter 13 cm
