About the Item

These heavy bowls are commonly attributed to Seguso Vetri d'Arte and Flavio Poli as a designer. I suspect also Cenedese made some. The glass is partially blown after casing layers of colors. Usually the last and more massive is transparent. The faceting and the lens effect makes the bowl appear to change color by moving it. Sommerso colors are deep acquamarine, uranium yellow and cobalt blue, followed by clear. Great piece from the 1960s. Diameter corner to corner is 20 cms 8". When comparing with other diamond shaped Flavio Poli bowl make sure you are comparing apples with apples.
