About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown pink, white and copper aventurine twisted ribbons Italian art glass decorative bowl. It is documented to the Fratelli Toso company, with similar designs published in many reference books. The bowl has a scalloped edge rim, and is folded inwards at its 4 sides. The ribbons has a very intricate swirling design. They alternate between a white Zanfirico net design (with copper aventurine inside), an open diamond shape lace in pink threads that twists, and a stripe of copper aventurine, which glitters in any light. The pattern repeats throughout the entire bowl. Can be used as a display piece on any desk or table. Use it as a catchall, ashtray or candy dish. Mid-century era. Measure 7 3/4" long x 7" wide x 2 3/4" high.
