About the Item
Product description:
This is a beautiful bowl with green / beige patina by Otto Zeegers. Otto and his wife Margreet made ceramics sinds 1972, Otto was responsible for the form, the patina was created by Margreet. The patina is created in several layers which gives the glazing a complex look. Every item has been handmade, turned on the table by Otto and afterwards going through several glazing phases by Margreet. The patina has blue / green / beige and sand-like color-tones in it. The patina looks organic, like growing fungi. I would not recommend using this bowl for functional purpose but would display it. Bright red / pink flowers can help in creating contrast (see for example the combination with a fresh hortensia in the picture).
Product condition:
The bowl is in perfect condition without any defects.
