About the Item

A beautifully executed Murano glass bowl attributed to Archimede Seguso. Handcrafted in Italy during the 1960s, this sculptural piece is formed in vivid emerald green glass and shaped as a four-lobed clover — with gently indented lobes, achieved through expert manipulation while the glass was hot. The interior is decorated with the bullicante technique, creating a perfectly spaced matrix of controlled air bubbles. This adds depth, luminosity, and texture to the glass, showcasing the technical refinement typical of Seguso's workshop. Measuring just 7.5 cm in width × 3.5 cm in height, the bowl is compact but bold. It functions beautifully as a vide-poche, jewellery dish, or simply a refined decorative accent among other Murano or mid-century glass. In very good vintage condition. Some wear to the polished base, consistent with age and careful handling, but this does not detract from the clarity or overall quality of the piece.
