About the Item
'Tortolina' , a sculptural bowl, hand crafted, moulded and cast in bronze in the lost wax process. The object intricately sculpted before the artist delicately imprints marks on the surface, enhancing it’s organic texture. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, the bowl emulates the appearance of a turtle shell. The multicolour patina achieved by an alchemic process of heating the bronze in high temperature, resulting in a riveting range of fiery colours on the surface.
There are two bronze bowls 'Tortolina 1' and 'Tortolina 2' which can be purchased as a pair or individually.
