A large and striking Murano glass catchall bowl attributed to Barovier
Toso, dating to the mid-20th century. This handblown Venetian glass piece features a dramatic scalloped, ruffled edge with abundant 24-karat gold flecks (avventurina technique) suspended throughout the crystal-clear glass.
The bowl is unsigned, consistent with many authentic Murano works of the era, and finished with a polished pontil to the base, confirming its handblown origin. Measuring an impressive 10” in diameter by 5” high, it serves as both a decorative showpiece and a functional catchall, centerpiece, or sculptural glass object.
