Huge and very stylish mid-century modern pencil reed farmhouse centerpiece bowl, basket or planter made of tightly coiled stalks of reed. The charming French Riviera style piece was produced in Italy during the 1960s and 1970s. This gorgeous object wonderfully represents the spirit of the times. Creations made of bamboo, rattan and reed were very popular and are still sought-after collector's items today, which fit beautifully into any interior. Very good vintage and 100% original condition with an overall lovely patina. Design and manufacturer: Italy, 1970s. 60 cm in diameter Depth: 28 cm This is an original piece and has lived a life before.
