About the Item

Large Vallauris Hand-Made Faience Ceramic Centerpiece, France, 1950s An absolutely stunning large ceramic fruit bowl or centerpiece, featuring an intricate sculptural body in rich oxblood faience, artfully woven around a central bowl in earthy natural tones. The design is highly unusual and beautifully executed, with spectacular high-quality glazing throughout — an outstanding piece of mid-century ceramic artistry. Hand-made in Vallauris, France, circa the 1950s. Marked by hand Fait à la Main Céramique along with a code number. This piece is wonderfully versatile: perfect as a dining-room centerpiece, a striking fruit bowl, a catchall on an entry cabinet, or a decorative statement atop a coffee table or console. Dimensions: 33 cm diameter × 9 cm height (Approximately 13 in diameter × 3.5 in height) Large, substantial, and visually captivating — a rare collectible example of 1950s Vallauris craftsmanship.
