About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown white Italian decorative art glass bowl with 4 embossed rearing horses. Documented to designer Livio Seguso. I have previously owned several others with the original Live Seguso label on them. The piece was likely created to commemorate the display of the 4 bronze horses from Constantinople back above the doors of the Chiesa San Marco in St. Mark's Sq., Venice, in the 1980s. They are a symbol of the city. Made as a solid glass block. Would make a great display piece on any table. Use it as a catchall, or sculpture. Mid-century era. Measures 7 1/2" long x 6 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" high.
