Unusual glazed vintage ceramic bowl created in the famous potteries of Vallauris in the South of France. This rope design is a classic motif made famous in this area but the colour, a beautiful rose pink, is quite rare. These potteries were at their heyday in the 1960s, the clasic period of French ceramics. This bowl is a good size and could function as a fruit bowl or equally would be stunning in an elegant bathroom, filled with beautiful soaps. Signed to the base Vallauris and also by the potter.
