About the Item

Our monumental 19th century ormolu bronze centerpiece in the Louis XVI style stands an impressive 33 inches tall. It depicts a pair of standing putti with neoclassical foliate designs, and features a circular cobalt blue-glazed porcelain charger measuring 20 inches in diameter. Apparently unsigned. One of the largest such tazza or centerpieces we have handled in our career. With five decorative gilt bronze brackets with mounting screws that hold the charger in place (not shown in our images here).
