About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown dark red - pink outer surface with an inside light blue satin surface Italian art glass bowl. The piece is attributed to the Fratelli Toso company. The bowl has blue with yellow millefiori flowers all over the outside, creating a unique pattern. The rim has a crimped ruffle edge. It is soft to the touch like velvet. The bottom has some scratches and shows the pontil mark, where the glass was cut from the blowing rod that held it, showing it was hand made. Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, credenza or dresser. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. Mid-century era. Measures: 8 1/4" x 8" across x 3 5/8" high.
