About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown red and gold flecks Italian art glass sculptural chunky vide-poche, bowl or ashtray. The piece is attributed to the Barovier e Toso company. The bowl has a a very unique striped pattern, and an optic design with swirling red bands. The bowl is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout. With the lines, it creates a unique pattern. It has a close to squared shape, with 2 indents on the rim. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, cigar ashtray or candy dish. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 5 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 2 5/8" high.
