Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 as the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory. It is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, the three blue waves in its marks, and classic tableware patterns such as “Blue Fluted.” In the 20th century, designers such as Nils Thorsson, Axel Salto, and Thorkild Olsen introduced innovative shapes and glazes, including the popular celadon series.
