About the Item

Set of Two Tuscan bowls made in the early 1900s. Both are glazed with turquoise and white speckles on the inside, leaving the external terracotta on display. One bowl has a more intact glaze than the other a more gentle. These bowls had a variety of uses in the cucina, from making passata to holding grains and legumes. Today they make for excellent serving or decorative bowls. These bowls were found together in a private home in Tuscany.
