About the Item

We have for sale a wooden bowl in bocote wood by master woodturner Ray Key (1942-2018). Ray Key was one of the most praised woodturners of any generation. His works are in museum collections world wide. He was awarded a British Empire Medal in 2015 in the Late Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to wood turning. Something he had excelled in for fifty years. Images are not able to capture the beauty of this piece. These are really exceptional pieces, in craftsmanship, in proportion and selections of wood. Each piece is individually signed, these are not studio pieces. We have a large collection of pieces from peers Ray Key (1942-2018) Bert Marsh (1932-2011). The pieces all came from one collection built up over twenty five years. The pieces look great grouped and well as single pieces. If there are any noticeable marks, it will be described or a close up image will be sent to you. Local, National and International delivery options available.
