About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown heavy iridescent surface and gold flecks Italian art glass transparent decorative bowl. Attributed to designer Flavio Poli for the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company, circa 1930s. Really unique wave design applied to the outside of the bowl. Created in the same technique and design as model number "Z1461" (shown in the Seguso Vetri d'Arte book), but in a bowl form instead of a vase. Last photos show the vase referenced in the book, and a similar bowl of the same age also in the book. The piece is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any credenza, dinning or console table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish as well. Early Mid-century era. Measurements: 7 3/4" across x just over 3" high.
